Yoga Classes

Jenny R Yoga

I am trained in Traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga with 200hr qualifications from both Zuna Yoga, Ubud, and The Practice in Canggu, Bali. I have also trained and practiced Yin Yoga extensively with Nik Robson Yoga and the Yin Culture Movement from New Zealand.

I have spent time teaching and learning at yoga and healing retreats in both Sri Lanka and Bali in the past several years, including Sunshine Stories in Ahangama, Sri Lanka, and Be Kind Retreats in Canggu, Bali.

My approach to teaching yoga comes from a place of healing. Having experienced firsthand the healing benefits the yoga practice has on both the body and mind, and the inextricable links between the two, I aim to share these techniques with students seeking to re-align and develop a deeper understanding of themselves & their energy.

On a physical level, classes follow a scientific approach to return the nervous system to balance through breath, mindful movement, mantra and kriya meditations. Private consultations can be arranged to tailor practices to individual clients, enabling you to continue deepening your practice at home and in private

All classes follow a traditional tantric Hatha yoga approach and aim to help students cultivate their own sense of healing & awareness, and through this – empowerment.

What’s My Motivation?

I truly thrive on helping people realise the value of their own contribution and authentic selves to the world. In deepening my own practices and understanding of yoga I have travelled and taught in various locations in Asia over the last 2 years (Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Bali) and completed 200hr Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin YTTs with teachers like Octavio Salvado (The Practice), Nik Robson and Everett Newell (Zuna Yoga) in Bali and in Cambodia.
I hope to continue my exploration, growth, and learning about the ancient practices and never ending benefits of yoga through my teachings and also through my writings and creative endeavours.

I travel with this practice – wherever there is a need, a love and a desire for yoga, self-awareness and inner work, I am happy to facilitate it and help others on their journey towards manifesting their ideal life.
