Having trained as a Holistic Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), I was inspired to start offering private, 1 on 1 Health Coaching sessions with a focus on Ayurvedic healing and preventative medicine modalities. These sessions are designed to help you focus on your health goals while integrating natural ways of healing mind, body and spirit. The resulting understanding of your unique Dosha type and how to incorporate Yoga to suit it best will help you reach an optimum state of health and wellbeing that might not have been accessible with another more conventional route.
Ayurveda is an ancient Vedic life science developed in India up to 5,000 years ago. It does not focus merely on balancing the physical body, as it was understood back then that the mind, body and spirit are all intricately linked, and to impact one, we must look to the others. Because of this, the system takes all of these elements into account when aiming to rebalance the individual constitution (or ‘Prakriti’), of which there are three:

What To Expect From a Session?
Generally sessions are 1 hour long, and can take place either in person or via Skype. Unless a programme or series of sessions has been agreed upon already, the initial consultation will focus on introducing you to Ayurveda and discussing your primary health concerns and/or goals. From this we’ll be able to determine the kinds of Ayurvedic practices and lifestyle changes which could potentially help your concern, and also discuss how to work specific yoga and meditation practices into your schedule.
